Born from a local firefighter’s fundraising idea, SmplTix is a Kiwi-built platform dedicated to making ticketing easy, transparent, and affordable for everyone.

From a Fire Station to a Ticketing Platform

SmplTix wasn’t born in a boardroom — it started in a fire station.

When a local Volunteer Firefighter began organising a fundraising event with his brigade, he noticed something that didn’t sit right: every ticketing platform wanted to charge the community extra just to show up.

With a background in programming and a passion for fair, community-driven solutions, he decided to build something better.

That idea became SmplTix — a ticketing platform designed in Aotearoa for small-scale event organisers, fundraisers, and promoters who value simplicity and fairness over unnecessary complexity.
