Refund Policy | SmplTix

This Refund Policy explains how SmplTix (operated by Smpl Group Limited, New Zealand) handles ticket refunds.

1. Our role

SmplTix provides ticketing and payment facilitation services as agent for the event organiser. The organiser determines refund eligibility.

2. Event cancellation

If an event is cancelled, the organiser is responsible for approving refunds. Once authorised and funds are available, SmplTix will process refunds to the original payment method.

3. Postponement or changes

  • Transfer to a new date, or
  • Refunds, subject to organiser approval and funds availability

4. Non-attendance

Tickets are non-refundable if you do not attend or arrive late, unless required by law.

5. Fees

Booking and transaction fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law or required by payment-provider rules. Any non-refundable component will be disclosed at checkout.

6. Timeframes

Refund timeframes depend on organiser approval and payment-provider processing. SmplTix is not responsible for delays outside its control.

7. Fraud and chargebacks

Refunds may be declined or reversed where fraudulent or unauthorised activity is suspected.

8. Requesting a refund

Email tyla@smpltix.nz with your order number, event name and reason.

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
